Lot size

A gold lot represents the quantity specified in the broker's gold contract.
If one lot is defined as 100 troy ounces, 0.01 lot represents one troy ounce, but this convention is not universal.
For a linear USD-quoted contract, gross dollar profit or loss equals ounces multiplied by the signed dollar price change.
Account currency conversion, trading costs and the broker's minimum size affect the final account result.
